So, you’ve decided to make the leap and have a new Jacuzzi® bathtub installed in your home. Congratulations! You’ve picked out the options you like and have an installation date set and ready to go. Now what? While your Jacuzzi Bath Remodel team will handle all of the details of the bathtub installation itself, there are a few things you can do to prepare your bathroom and your home for your Jacuzzi® bathtub installation.
Preparing the Bathroom
Your installation crew will primarily be working in the bathroom where you’ll be having your new bathtub installed. And, because they’re working with such large objects that they need to maneuver into place, it helps to clear out any items that may get in the way. Anything you have on your countertops and shelving should be removed from the bathroom and tucked safely away. If you have a trashcan, shelving, or other moveable items, it helps to remove these from the bathroom as well.
Essentially, if it’s not affixed to the bathroom itself or inside a cabinet that’s fixed in place, it’s best to remove it from the bathroom. Preparing the Rest of Your Home
You may also want to consider preparing other areas of your home as well.
